Dry Fire is Dangerous!

Most mishaps occur when a trigger is pulled under the false belief the firearm is not loaded! Never point your weapon at anything you are not willing to destroy.

Follow the dry fire safety rules to prevent a mishap:

  1. Unload your firearm and remove all ammunition from the room.
  2. Choose a safe backstop and tape a target to it. Do not use something normally in the room as a target.
  3. Double check your firearm is not loaded.
  4. Dry fire practice for up to fifteen minutes at a time. Stop practice if your concentration is weakening.
  5. When you are done put your weapon down and say out loud: "Dry Fire Practice is now over."
  6. Remove and stow your target until your next practice session.

Follow the above process every time you dry fire. This is the way.
